You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should....

Matine's day on the ranch
A sunny Saturday with Mattie J. We played bugs and blocks and books. Cuddled cuddled and napped. Watched the weather and toured the yard. Went on a coffee run to town and jammed out to progressive techno beats. Laughed at G's funny faces and noises. Visited mom in Emigrant for lunch. Tried to make friends with kitty and Fisher but Fisher was too old and crabby and kitty was too strange..............can't complain! Thanks for being such a great little girl Mattie! xxoo
Meet Gus!
Out with the OLD....In with the NEWish!
My poor old silver Elantra GT hatchback is now sitting back on the very same lot where we met just 3 years ago at Montana Import Group. She has had a rough couple of months!! On May 20th she was sideswiped while parked on Park Street while I enjoyed a quick tanning sesh. She was promptly whisked away to spend the next 30 days in a skinky body shop garage while I crused around in a gangster black Grand PriX with blackout tinted windows (that also smelled like a stinky body shop garage).
A month passed by and she was mine again but I wan't quite happy with a few things so back she went. And at the end of the day she looked like this.............
There had been another casualty so again we waited patiently to get fixed back up.
Little did she now I had been feeling the itch to upgrade, and upgrade I did. Within hours of her window being fixed I passed the keys back to the dealship and left with my Santa Fe.

love to hate it/hate to love it
I HEART YOU DON DRAPER!
I ended up with Mad Men on my netflix que and have been in love ever since. We have been watching a disk of Mad Men episodes (3-4 hour long episodes) every weekend for weeks now and just found ourselves at the end of the line. We have to wait until July 25, 2010 for season 4 to begin and watch one episode at a time! I love the character development, the music (esp the intro), the unbelievably real portrayal of time and place. I hate the cheating, the drinking, the smoking, how they degrade women. Who am I kidding....I love it all.
WTF??
I don't blog for weeks and weeks and now that I want to I can't get any images to upload. It doesn't seem to matter what the picture is or where it is coming from.....it WON'T upload. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Someday..............
When it stops raining here and the sun decides to gace us with it's presence I will.........
-enjoy walks on the road
-float the river every moment that I can
-play with Gus outside on our days together
-work on my skin cancer....I mean tan
-wear shorts and dresses and tank tops and bathing suits and sandals.....
-spend time with my plants in the garden
-practice my tennis game
-take little breaks at work and walk around town
-go camping....maybe
-practice my cast
Until then you can find me still wearing a coat, under my couch blankie watching Food Network with Gus curled up on the floor next to me, pale, plants in the garden freezing and lonely, in desperate need of some exercise.
