I really didn't take many pics on my trip but here are a few. I think that there are some on other cameras that I will try to get.
All bundled up from being in MT. Sucha good little traveler.
Going out for a stroll around the neighborhood. The only day that we did anything outside. ;)
Not a huge fan of taking walks.
Ash being an awesome mommy.
Cafe' BaBaReeba...good food and great time with friends.
Yes. It rained 3 days while I was there.
Being a good girl entertaining herself....for a little bit at least.
She is getting pissed about something.
See ya Las Vegas............

my trip

I had an amazing trip to Las Vegas. I was there to spend the week with my bestie and her beautiful baby girl. I got a taste of what life is like on maternity leave...minus the midnight feedings. We honestly didn't do all that much but it was just what the doctor ordered for me. We watched daytime TV, cooked and ate great meals, played with Karmella of course, spent a few evenings shopping. Another friend of ours that we grew up with joined me in Vegas from Denver the last few days and we met up with another Livingstonian on the strip for dinner. I realized that I didn't end up taking many pics...prob cuz we didn't do much. I fell even more in LOVE with Karmella and got some good quality bestie time. I miss them terribly already and can't wait for the next time they are in MT.

Now I really want............

We should have gotten the Wii before xmas. Then there would have been no questions as to what I wanted. I think it is true that having material things only leaves you wanting more and more. There is always something else to add to the list.
I WANT THESE GAMES RIGHT NOW:
-Wii FIT
-Mario Kart
-Big Buck Hunter
-Wii Play
-Dance Dance Revolution
-Rock Band
I don't even know when I would have time to play all of these games but I sure want them.

Just like Christmas

G and I decided to take full advantage of being American consumers yesterday. The big decision around the house lately has been NEW BIG TV vs old little TV. The NEW BIG TV won out over the weekend and we made it our mission to do our homework and get the best TV for what we wanted. And of course no new TV can be connected to an old DVD player and needs bigger sound and why not throw in a video game or too as well. We ended up with a 40' LCD HDTV, a new DVD player that converts regular old DVDs to HD, surround sound and best of all a Wii w/Guitar Hero. It took me a good 3 hours to get it all put together right yesterday and we spent the evening bowling, boxing, playing baseball, tennis, golf and of course rockin out! Now I am hating being at work and I just want to play! I love being a consumer. At least now we can scratch the projector off of the list.

It is a New Year

Happy New Year!! G and I enjoyed some sushi at Will and Suzie's home with friends and headed home at about 10 to build a fire, watch a movie, snuggle and watch the ball drop. We woke in the morning, got on our gear and headed to the Bistro for brunch before a trip to Eagle Creek outside of Gardiner for some xcountry skiing. YAY! We had a great afternoon of skiing. I am doing much better this year. We even saw some elk on the way back to the truck. Crazy thing. We almost got locked up there because the road that we were on is a seasonal access and the guy had come up and locked it for the winter. Luckily he saw our headlights coming down the mountain and waited to let us out. Close call.
