Super Bowl

We are not much for professional sports on TV at our house. We spent the day touring around Yellowstone National Park and trying a new x country ski trail. We had a GREAT day....the weather was AMAZING and we caught the 4th quarter of the game when we got home...all we needed to see ;)
There were 5 of these guys right next to the road. Park elk and pretty impressive and don't mind the photo shoots.

Buffalo on the move.

Having a fruit roll up snack and soaking in the warm sun at the top of the trail.

Yellowstone Rive close to the source.
Above the river canyon.

We skied up to Tower Fall where Tower Creek falls into the Yellowstone River. We had the perfect day and can't wait to go back. Every time we are in the Park we ask ourselves why we don't go more often. WE WILL take advantage of the annual pass that we got and spend more time there.

I love that little ski tour! It's a beaut. Glad you got into the park, we're always saying we should go more, too.

that looks like so much fun - I miss cross country skiing. It used to be one of my favorite activities.
